I'm a man with a lot of bike to enjoy.

This was today when, unlike my usual fair weather approach, I threw caution to the wind and got it even muddier. So glad I didn't bother cleaning it after the last ride... After the green (well, more brown in all honesty) lane I headed to the bike wash for a cursory splash. Or should I say, pre-wash, as I suppose now I had better actually involve a bucket and brush. The bike wash turned out to have a rather mossy covering leading to an impressive MZ powerslide. I'm willing to bet I'm the only person to powerslide an MZ through a ford today.



It's a laugh a minute and I'm happy to ride it whatever the weather: it's fun, not precious and requires virtually no cosseting. Which is fortunate as it isn't getting any! Not only that but I have a topbox and large red throwovers plus a tank bag. Its performance is amazing for what it is - easily zips up to 60mph so, with all the gear, suitable for touring too.

I'm also enjoying the luxury of space in the garage which makes it easy to walk all round the bike and have access to all the areas I'm not bothering to clean. Very pleasant.
