I like old cars but nowhere to store them while i have the garage full of motorbikes. I have only had new cars since i was 29 and no used ones. Same with modern bikes, i like to have then new and hang on to them usually although i have sold some of them.
The loss on a 3 year old car is about 13,000 pounds and the losses get bigger as the new prices increase. This one is the most expensive one so far as the price goes up as the years go by.
My Nissan lost half its new price with just 23,000 miles on the clock. About 75 pence a mile not including fuel and running costs. Now that makes it look very expensive to own.
