It was seven years ago today that I was subjected to the skills of the NHS surgeons, when I had my by-pass and a replacement Aortic Valve fitted to my old beating heart. Basically I now have a fully refurbished pump, new valves and some new fuel line fitted. Walked in and walked out 6 days later thanks to the wonderful people at the Glenfield Hospital in Leicester. It was certainly the best Christmas present I have ever had.
