On Wednesday I posted a very personal message as it was the 7th anniversary of having my heart mended. Today I am posting a second personal message. Why? Because I just fancy sharing it with my IKBA friends.
On Saturday the 19th December 1970, which was also a dry and sunny day, my wife and I were married. Yes today is our Golden Wedding Anniversary. When we married we never ever expected to have this celebration, as after all a Golden Wedding Anniversary is something that only old people celebrate. Hmmmmm must think about that. LOL.
We have had, and continue to have, a blast. We will hopefully see off Covid. We have travelled the world in a marriage that has lasted 50 years, five decades, half a century and just about three quarters of our life time. Long may it continue.
Normal service can now be resumed.
