Most of the neoprene gap filler in the new Dawlish wall is now gone. apparently it is now a danger to wildlife.
I notice a very large shingle beach has appeared down at Orcombe point.
The planners were told by a master mariner born in Exmouth, not to alter the breakwaters around Shelly beach or reap the consequences. He was also a Councillor and they laughed at his suggestions that there will be major sand movement.
Orcombe point beach is now nearly half a mile out into the sea at low tide. Great for the kids to play in though.
