The old style Nissan leaf has the battery life problems. In Exeter, many are being traded in for a low price. My mechanic boy then gets them to make ready for resale. he is finding that after a full charge, some will only have 12 mile of life left. they get scrapped. many are being traded in at Mercedes garage in exchange for Smart cars.
I anticipate these batteries will improve very soon.
These mild hybrids are interesting when accelerating.The very heavy Volvo will throw you into the seat back and wheelspin up the road. Caught me out until i mastered my right foot after using a lower powered diesel.
I had not intended to buy a hybrid and there is no information in the brochure to say it was. I thought i was just buying a petrol car. Not found where they hide the battery yet so i will have a look tomorrow.
