It's not a con. It's that they don't care. The point is not to transport yourself and family around, the point is to:

1) Virtue Signal. "I'm green, and you're a barbarian."

2) Spread out government subsidies to their buddies.

And b*gger all the rest.

We're closer than we've ever been here to having a second revolution ... Keeping our powder dry, our supplies stocked up, our local networks active, and then carry on with life and see how far they think they can push ... !
