Well, let's see.

"Victor" is probably an alter-screen-name for someone else on the list (like "Goering" but nowhere near as funny) for the purposes of taking the p!ss in general. Way too predictable.

"NBAY" was "No Bike As Yet", a young buck who really wanted a classic bike, and was constantly asking things like "Can I put a Bantam engine in a Square Four frame?" and other things just to get a conversation going. No harm in the lad, but he finally got a real job for a municipality, moved out of his parent's house, and lost his motivation for classic bikes among the realities of wife (probably) and family.

"The Watcher" was just someone who felt like a big man if he implied that he was watching and controlling everyone, and making snide comments whenever he liked, with no actual motorcycling activity, interest, or experience to back it up. Big waste of time.

"Ebay Eric" I never read. Don't know what his schtick was.

RealMart is gone, may he rest in peace, and Frank and Rowena don't participate in this list, so the original "motivation", whatever that was, is irrelevant now. It's whatever we make of it. I do know that it's an excellent (since it's limited in size) non-moderated list. You almost never find that these days.
