I did some much needed tidying of my stock of metal today as it was just too grey / cold and murkey to ride, seeing a gritter pass by today sealed my decision.

My stock of metal is now sorted out into sheet, section, bar, plate, and rounds as it should be -

I also sorted out all my round stuff so that short pieces are now in a seperate bin - that will save a lot of frustration when looking for a short piece for my next turning job.

Going through my "stock" was like going back in history as I came accross bits from my old T140s, exhaust pipe parts from the various cars I have had over the years, the Enfield, also various welded parts from my attempts at making a bike jack, and laterly bits from the Kawasaki project, plus numerous other odds and sods from various non bike related projects.

I ended up with only a small pile of stuff that will be going to the recycling centre as I decided that it was really not much use for anything.

Hopefully I will not regret getting shot of any of it.

I now have my stock of metals nicley organised, I just dont have any projects needing any of it at the moment.

The Himalayan, and "Spudmasher" dont need anything doing to them, and the H2 is sat on the bench waiting for it's expansions chambers to be re fitted following its winter fettling.

Might be some more tidying tomorrow as the weather outlook is not that good.
