Geoff, I'm sorry to rain on his/your parade but there is no reason on earth to travel over 100mph on a public road and in particular a dual carriageway.
Porsche or not, if he had lost control he and/or other road users may have been toast.
However, he knew the consequences and if he gets banned and his business goes down the pan, it's down to him and him alone.
