Fay and I lived in an upstairs 2-bedroom apartment about an 85-year-old lady that kept her own apartment at about 80 degrees, apparently.
The floor was always so warm that we never had to turn on the forced-air gas heat (no boilers here, remember). Our gas bill was maybe $8 a month, all for the cooker and the hot water.
