The amazing thing is that NO ONE is doing the snipping.

It's a group of adults here, just about unique on the Internet as far as I can tell. No one is going off the deep end, people aren't threatening other people, no one is getting nasty ... in other words, there's no NEED for anyone to snip anything.

People start the most potentially divisive possible political threads, everyone has their say and then ... it just fades out and folks go on to something else, usually an old bike fettling or riding session. No one has to keep posting until they have "spanked" someone, no one has to have the "last word" ...

I know it's only 50 people or so, but I dare you to find another open discussion site in cyberspace where no moderator is needed. I suppose that a cuckoo can always move into the nest and someone have to shoo it out with a moderator's Red Button (don't know who that is, haven't had to find out yet).
