A good riding friend of mine was going through some family photos that his grandmother had taken, and found these that he had never seen before.

They were taken on August 14, 1920 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The guy in white is his grandpa (age 19 at the time) that owned this Harley outfit, the sailor is his brother-in-law.

In the above photo, his buddy Ed Swirsding (who owned a Hudson auto dealership in Philadelphia) had a matching outfit, and they rode quite a bit together.

This pic was taken in Germany in 1955, the bike is a new one, but I can't tell what it is. This was an uncle, who died just this last year in his 90s.



Bikes have been around for a while now ....
