Yes we ate the chickens and rabbits we raised in the garden. Didn't give it a second thought.
Used to hold the torch while they were killed and butchered on cold winter nights. Can still see the steam rising from their bellies.
Then there was the fishnchips wrapped in old newspapers that cats n rats had probably slept in.
Its no wonder that food doesn't as good as it used to.
