unsprung rear 'guard. actually the rear guard is sprung in a way, it goes up and down with the swinging arm, wheel et-all. The engine of course swings in the opposite direction as arm, engine mount arm, and exhaust are all the same piece.
Around 12000 made although very rare now, less that 20 in Germany now, 2 in the UK, oddly though quite a lot in the USA
