Ah yes Zeus handbook - another very useful book.

No I was not railroad.

I started out Mechanical - sheet metal / small castings / plastic mouldings, from that became more electro mechanical orientated, dealing with the design, assembly, layout, wiring & packaging of various electrical equipments.

Once CAD came in I found I had an aptitude for management and control of Data, so left practical engineering to become a Configuration & Data Manager, something I still do to this very day.

I still have a couple of my old hand produced drawings un in the attic as keepsakes, and I still have my draughtsmans callous caused by years of holding and rolling pencils, and laterly Rotring pens betwwwn my fingers.

All my years of training to produce engineering drawings by hand has gone by the wayside, but it has been an interesting and at time challenging "journey".

Not many more working years to go.
