My first shot was going to be an Itala, a competitor in the 1908ish Pekin to Paris race. Weighed tons but coolie chappies had to carry it and the five or so other competitors for the first 200 miles through the mountains but then I changed my mind and am going to go for a rocket powered Opel. Didn't half go. That's a lorra "Go's".
By an amazing coincidence I took my boys to Paris on a Sun newspaper jolly - See Paris for a tenner offer. I think we slept on the coach. Anyway just as we came out of a restaurant they all came chugging down the Tuilleries (?)
They had just completed a re-run, which was nice.
