Thanks for the pictures Nigel. I find the V8 fascinating, the engine on the stand is the early version with two float chambers, the later engine had eight, one for each carburettor.
The crankshaft design was also changed from 180 to 90 degrees to cure vibration problems. A true masterpiece in it's day, what might have been had they continued with it's development.
The Guzzi museum is on my bucket list.
