The funniest ones to me were the amateur motocross racers who would spend hundreds of dollars to save 5 pounds on their racer ... but who were carrying 40 extra pounds on their own good selves!

Or an even sillier ratio were the bicycle riders who would spend $1000 to literally save 80 grams on their bike, but (even though they had good wind and big legs) had 2-3 pounds of subcutaneous excess fat on them that could be lost and it would SAVE them money on food to do it ....
