I have a bit of a different reaction.

You can watch all sorts of suicidal stunts and activity on youtube these days. I don't generally watch it, although I watched the guy who crashed into the car.

My reaction is NOT "oh my gosh, that's terrible, that could happen to ME!!" mainly because it couldn't happen to me. My reaction to some stunter doing some suicidal thing is NOT "Oh, dear, that's so terrible".

My reaction is "What a mindless, uncaring arsehole. Why would he do that to his family and friends?" under the heading of "Stupid Should Hurt" and "Play Stupid Games, Win Stupid Prizes".

I might get taken out by a turning driver or a texting murderer, but there's going to be a very small window in which it can happen because on that road, I'm going to running 50 miles per hour.

Running 100 MPH on that road is like playing Russian Roulette with an automatic pistol ... what
else would you EXPECT to happen?
