Done it again Brian 39 BMW supercharged TT bike
It was being used in the fifties by a friend of my brother and being used dayly for going to work t Brentford Gas works it was run with more plumbing the intake to the blower had large copper pipes running from the carb to a desicator unit on the rear mudguard he fitted it to keep the air clean??? the bike after many years packed up and we asked what had happened to it he had given up on it and left it in the shed... We told him to get in touch with MLG motorcycles GoldHawk road Shepherds Bush as they were BM dealers. They bought it and returned it to its original TT spec and was on the BMW stand that year at the Earls Court M/C show. Some light fingered person stole the BMW motive oil filler that only appeared on that bike.... This pic is cropped and taken at Goodwood..
