It's one of the toughest trials competitors from all over the country start from official points so every competitor covers the same distance is a night and day trial taking in as many as fifty sections and special tests
My section at Fingle Woods near Castle Droge was a mile long section no footing for bikes cars struggle then at the top of the climb was a stop - start timed section.. I have had to pick up riders and physicly put them back on the bike as they were so tired and cold.. That's the Exeter trial.. My son competed in many and only got two Golds for finishing they are tough trials but great fun proper sport..
