I had a pair of old thin pipe grips that had a lot of sentimental value, despite their age they were much better than the modern pair I now have.

I have looked in just about every place they coudl be but to no avail.

It is possible that I "lent" them to someone - I really hate lending tools as I have lost a few in the past, and they never got returned, alternatively they may be someplace under the floor at home, as I have been known to leave tools under the flooring.

Shame about those grips, they were really good, and you cannot replace the sentimental value that they had.
