Depends what you mean by "alternative":-

. If you mean catching The Lergy, the only people I actually know who've caught it live in London; nevertheless, none have died. So my "alternative" here is Don't Go To London For A While.

. If you mean not having the jab, I'm like Lannis - not in any rush. I hate needles at the best of times. I haven't ever had a flu jab but haven't ever had flu (even when I lived in London and commuted to/from an office every day on trains). I'm lucky to have a collection of medics of various disciplines in my extended family; despite the government 'statistics' peddled unquestioningly by the Bullshit Broadcasting Corporation and Idiot TV, none of those medics - not even my hypochondriac brother-in-law - have suggested my "alternative" Wait And See is the wrong thing to do and/or I'll be the source of the next outbreak.

And, to answer the question in your OP, you don't have the Beeb IPlayer on your laptop? I listened to Johnnie Walker's Rock Show with Suzi Quattro (still mmm ...) then watched Sounds Of The 70's on Yesterday.
