The engine mountings of the Skoda and Seat are the same being from the same VW group.

Same engines.

Mostly the various cars in the VAG group are just different styling exercises on the same floorpan & running gear. So when there is an "issue" with one, it affects all. Like the 1.9 TD engine that threw the No.2 conrod through the side of the block equally on VWs, Seats, Skodas etc.

I used to buy Skodas, but stopped doing so when they got VW reliability issues at VW prices.
