Nothing to do for a few minutes so i went to check the oil level on the Volvo as it is at 1000 miles. Looked everywhere and concluded it has not got a dipstick. I am guessing it has got a sensor and the computer screen will show me when top up is needed and how much to put in.
Modern car but why not keep the dipstick ?
I did have oil sensors on many previous cars but at least the stick was there to visually check.
