Read up on the missing dipstick. The idea is, start the engine and run it for awhile, then the electronics display how much is in the engine on the central screen. If it does get low on the road, a warning will come up on the screen.
So, no way of checking when cold or before a journey unless you sit with the engine running before setting off.
Pretty much a very automated car. Not had to check tyre pressures on my last few cars either and that has become the norm for me. Dipstick deletion is a new one.
