Computer models are one of the bains of modern life imho. All of the climate change nonsense and Covid over reaction can be laid at the foot of computer modelling. Because the word 'computer' is used and because techy people are talking, everybody goes all glassy eyed and assumes its all true. You could prove that the earth is flat with a computer model if you tweaked the input variables appropriately.

I was involved at the sharp end of computer modelling for a while, and believe me, if there are more than two or three unknowns involved, you may as well wring a chicken's neck and read it's entrails to predict the future.
