It's not that they "think it won't happen to them".
It's that they don't CARE if it happens to them. I don't care if it happens to ME ... most of my family have had it. I might have had it, I don't know.
But I'm not cowering in my house in fear of a "pandemic" that probably has 1 chance in 10,000 of killing me.
So I continue to go to big assemblies, I continue to never have worn a mask, I recognize that it's a "real thing" ... but it's not ruling my life, never has, never will.
Your health and mileage may differ. But the thousands out on the beach don't think it's a "hoax" or that it "won't happen to them". They've realized that if it DOES, it's very unlikely to be a big deal, regardless of what the "pezzonovante" of media and state tell us ...
