Some doctors in missionary fields live on extremely little, and simply help others who have nothing.
I DO have something, so I pay Dr. Cure (great name for a doctor, isn't it?) for his services to me, same as I do my car mechanic or gunsmith. He's been a doctor for almost 40 years, he's a personal friend of mine, and I really do believe that he has my best interests at heart. Everything he's ever told me to do has come out well for me.
I don't wear a crash helmet because someone "told me it would be wise". I started out wearing one because it was the law that you HAD to wear one while riding a motorcycle. After rapping my head on the pavement a few times, and watching the results when someone who DIDN'T have a helmet rapped THEIR head against the pavement ... I wouldn't go out on a bike without one. And it's not even the law any more, most places. Can't imagine getting whacked by June bugs and gravel on my bare head, doesn't make any sense.
