The Rick Parkington Project.

Bad news about Rick Parkington, though he'll survive. (Readers of "Classic Bike" will be aware that he's had an accident while riding his Sunbeam.) He comes across as a genuinely nice guy who has even earned plaudits from rival publisher Mortons hacks in the past.
His injuries will have put his project to get "da kids" into old bikes (mainly British machines) on hold, and it would be nice to think that one of the magazine's current correspondents would be asked to take over this venture on an interim basis. How about Julie Diplock?
I'm well aware that she is one busy, busy, busy lady what with ELK Promotions an' all, but she's a quality writer and I believe that "Classic Bike" would certainly benefit from a few more columns from her.
How say the panel?
"Nothing from the past was sad...every incident from the past was laughable
for the simple reason that it was past, and that he had survived it without
mortal damage." (Alan Sillitoe.)
