We have the same thing at about 57°34.5'N 4°05'W - the Beauly Firth and western part of the Moray Firth to the west either emptying into or filling from the seaward side of the Moray Firth to the east. Chanonry Point in particular is a popular place to watch the local dolphins feeding on the fish in the narrowest part of the channel.
