The WDCO was ridden up and down the UK at 50mph, lots of miles but not much speed. I rode it once to Norfolk for a weekend show and my average speed was probably 40mph...but I was staggered to record an amazing 138 miles to the gallon on the way up there, and with a full camping kit loaded.
I was offered more than twice what I paid for it by a chap who dresses up as a soldier for re enactments and he took it on the show circuit on his military lorry. He didn't plan on riding it. It was the right time to let it go for someone else to enjoy it.
The pre65 racer I decommissioned and fitted it's original 350 motor and sold it to a chap in yorkshire for trials use. The race motor is in someones Indian Bullet going like the clappers.
Lastly the old frankenstein bullet went on EBay without an MOT and reached a silly high price, don't know why, I guess it had a good old look about it. Old Indian Bullets seem to be fetching good money these days, there was a time when they were almost worthless.
