I had a new 1979 Vespa P200E, in red (the fastest color). It had the little standard wheels and a 200cc two-stroke engine, kickstart.
Well-built little machine. But you could tell that the frame was designed for a 90cc engine for using in an Italian town just over walking speed. Once or twice I had it up to 70 MPH on a motorway, and if there were any bumps, cross-breezes, or a truck nearby, it twisted and turned and wobbled and jibbed something chronic.
A racetrack? Not for me, no way ... !
