I thought the show was underwhelming. Triumph, RE, CCM and KTM showed up as manufacturers. Only Saltire showed up as a dealer and they focused on Indian, Mash, and an electric 125cc equivalant scooter - obviously Yamaha and Suzuki (Their other franchises) had said no.
The classics hall was well attended by the clubs although I think each club had rather more space than normal and some were missing. However the display in the middle was half empty, whereas in previous years its been packed. Part of the problem may be that its been a vaccine centre until recently and the show was put on at short notice, but others seem to have fared well.
I do think things are moving on though from the big shows to the more informal, Edinburgh has a "Coffee and Classics" group meeting once a month in a coffee shop carpark, so does Fife. Think MM's gathering but everything from a Model T to a Maclaren and a Bantam to a Busa.
