Well, hardly doing "nothing". When I'm looking at my calendar this year, volunteer work takes up a pretty big chunk of time, as well as visiting grandchildren.

And fettling old bikes, seeing the country, and visiting friends doesn't really count as "nothing", I don't think.

"Either Work For Pay Or You're A Drone" doesn't last one's whole life. Forty-one years of earning might be considered enough.
