Plymouth ride can be high risk but the police escorts have slowed it down in recent years after accidents. I have ridden a few on the R111 and T120r. Good bunch of people at the Hoe finishing point and never any hassle.
We did get moved on from a Xmas teddy bear run to Trago mills one year. Collecting for a childrens hospice but the organiser did not inform Trago. Trago dug in and would not allow the collection which is fair enough. The group could have been charity robbers.
Boxing day run is totally disorganised by anyone. It just happens with no communication and has been for about 40 years so far.
May these rides for us bike riders continue for a very long time. It keeps old bikes alive and gives old codgers a better life.
