I just ordered 2 more 600mm panels. I use these indoors for brilliant light i need to read. I use circular 24 watt fittings in other areas indoors and some 11 watt in the toilets and bathroom.
Having used these for about 13 years now in various forms, it is clear they do not last the time claimed but usually a few years. Odd individual LEDS in the fittings begin to flash. The drivers tend to be reliable enough. Much brighter light per watt than tungsten filament or fluorescent. The large schools that replaced 14watt 4 tube fittings are regretting the change as the tubes lasted much longer than the replacement LED panels. I worked on 6 schools changing tubes.Maybe 10,000 fittings in all 6 schools so energy saving was quite good but replacements were needed a lot more with LED panels.
What you may notice Andy, is the centre area becoming darker and looking grey. Have a look up in the local shops and notice it. My dining room is being replaced next week due to this deterioration. I do like the daylight colour for reading and warm white for small room lighting
