Wow! You really overcame a lot of hedges, dragons (well, it WAS Wales) and swords to get to race, good on yer.

Broken vans, probably won't happen again.

No fuel available, probably WILL happen. The police are on the Greens' side and are not going to stop them from doing any of their illegal shenanigans; they WANT us to stop burning fuel. So until folks do something about it, you'll know to stock up with some cans of diesel before the weekend like you do race fuel for the bikes.
