The info on shopping and eating locations will be very helpful. I don't know what they will be doing on their "free afternoons" but I'm sure shopping and eating will be 2 of them. A "Lonely Planet" guide will give them more ideas.

Your safety advice was very good. I will make sure they see the part about letting someone know where they are going and when they plan to return.
