although the MZ is gone it is going to be replaced in the next month or so, so I will still be looking at 2 classics and 2 modern.

Be aware (if you were not already) that CN have very high charges for amendments or changes after the policy has started - around £40 per change IIRC. When I adde the Classic 500 mid-term, the amendment fee was 30% more than the additional premium.
