A couple of weeks ago I was touring in Yorkshire with wife on pillion on our 350 Triumph Tiger, when the bike suddenly lost all power and came to a halt. It turned out that the battery had moved or the seat base had sagged slightly and shorted from live terminal to the seat base, blowing the additional fuse (inserted between battery and earth following assistance from Stuart when our 750 Triumph burnt out its wiring loom a few years ago).
Unfortunately I used up the spare fuse I had in my pocket before realising that was the problem!
Anyway, I decided to try out PJ's rescue service, and about 45 minutes after my call to them, a yellow AA van came and took us back to the hotel.
So, both AutoAid and PJ's version of the AA get my recommendation.
