Long story short -
I had similar vision problem that I put down to extreme tiredness. Did not seek help until it became obvious something was very wrong.
Though I did get most of the vision back I am left with some left side leg, arm and hand weakness.
To echo David - don't fark about, get yourself seen too and quickly.
