Interesting point about "Natural Ability" for a pillion. Some years back we went 800 miles to visit my wife's brother, and his kids.

We were riding a Guzzi SP-1000 at the time, with a sissy bar. I took the kids for a ride ... one was 12 years old, one was 10.

The twelve-year-old was nervous. I was being careful and slow, but she was reacting, moving around, and generally uncomfortable. She thanked me but was obviously nervous about the whole thing.

The ten-year-old ... I couldn't even tell she was back there, had to keep checking to make sure she hadn't fallen off. Excellent pillion even though it was her first time ever on a bike.
