Thanks for the positive comments, on the face of it there is very little to do apart from give it a once over.

It has an intrestsing back story, the guy in Ohio that it was bought from aparrently has loads - i.e. hundreds of bikes.

He buys them gets bored with them then buys another so he has loads of bikes which he rides every once in a while, aparrently he runs them all in turn.

That is why it is a one owner bike with only 1700 miles on it - the engine certainly sounds like it is correct, but who knows.

To be honest fuel consumption never came into the equation I just fancied one of these, this one came up and was too good to miss.
