Measuring small resistances with anything but an expensive Ohm-meter is difficult - bear in mind you can add resistance where the meter leads connect to the coil terminals ...
You might be able to get a more accurate reading by connecting the coils together negative-to-positive and then measuring the total resistance of all three at the same time. However, unless you eliminate every other possibility and the 0.8-Ohm/1.2-Ohm difference is still a concern, I'd be inclined to ignore it, look for problem causes elsewhere.
