Not bike related, but definitely not Political

33yrs ago tomorrow I rolled up at the gates of the Police Training Centre at Medmenham and commenced a career that has been at times frustrating but mainly fulfilling.

I spent 14yrs as a dog handler and had some great times, I spent 6yrs on the Marine Unit where I obtained my RYA Coastal Skippers ticket and my Level 2 Powerboat ticket. I also rose to the 'dizzy' heights of Chief Inspector.

Due to my (recovering) Health issue I had to take Ill Health Retirement and as of 1500hrs today I join the ranks of people who can state retired after their name. Mixed feelings about this, but I'm sure once I get my bike licence back I'll fully buy into retirement life and will post photos of gloves on seats, coffee stops and holidays.
