I had my operation for another finger bent at right angles due to Dupuytren's contracture this morning. It could have meant 6 weeks off driving/riding/cycling if they'd had to do open surgery, but fortunately they managed to sort it out with a new keyhole technique, so a couple of days to allow the swelling to go down, then I'm good to go .

As the surgeon said to me 'apart from the arthritis, dupuytren's and carpal tunnel you're quite fit and healthy aren't you?
