I loved my 1976 RD400C, and sold it in a fit of idiocy to buy a 1978 Vespa P200E.

I wouldn't mind having another one. It was a fantastic bike from nose to tail - handling, power, ease of maintenance, fuel mileage, no vibration when running, great self-cancelling turn signals, no valve adjustments, no oil changes, carried two with no trouble.

This one? IF AND ONLY IF I personally knew the builder and knew that everything he said was true and had been done competently, and IF I allowed myself about $2500 to strip and refinish the bike from this childish rattle-can-looking paint job, I'd give $2500 (what, £1800 or so) for it as it sits.
