At last I ventured into the garage, just pottering about.
Made better fixings to carry my two sticks on the Enfield rack.
Idly checked the Enfield oil level.
If left for any length of time it has wet sumped for as long as I've had it. But not this time, still at the correct mark on dipstick! Made me look at my log sheet, it had 150cc added after last ride 11th October.
Last ridden October!
FFS I knew last year had been a shyte year with a steadily crumbling carcase but how come I only managed 203 miles from first 2022 ride on 8th February.
Looked at the Flash & a Box log sheet, even worse.
Last ridden September 13th, just 183 miles from first 2022 ride on New Year Day!

Not so long ago 386 miles might have taken a day or a day & half, not a whole year.

I wish and hope to do better this year
